The Sacred Truth Lush Face Mask Review

Hello Loves,

How are you all doing? My blog is now 2 weeks old and I have received a lot of love and affection from all of you so far. So thank you very much for supporting me.

Today I am extremely happy to write this post because I am writing of a type of product which is very treasured to me and I greatly support – ORGANIC. Nowadays 1 out of 3 people are fascinated with cold press juices, organic vegetables, meat, milk and what not. Every time I visit my local organic store I am so overwhelmed with all the different variety of food items that are generated organic. If you are beautifying from the inside with chemical free organic food why not beautifying your outside too with organic beauty products. Here are some reasons why you should be using organic beauty products:

  • They are free of parabens (chemicals linked to Cancer), formaldehydrate or petrolium waxes which cause serious damage to skin.
  • They are prepared with proper research without any fake ingredients. So the effect is much better.
  • You are helping the environment to become non toxic without the use of chemicals to some extent causing a greater good for the society.
  • Your skin absorbs the natural ingredients from the organic products. It provides nutrients helping to achieve a healthy body.
  • People with sensitive skin will normally react to the artificial chemical. So going organic is their best bet.
  • All beauty products use fragrance which generally consists of harmful chemicals. Organic products on the other hand gets the fragrance mainly from natural ingredients.

So today I have decided to share with you about my most favorite and most used organic beauty product brand “LUSH”.  I love Lush products very much because they are handmade, organic, and not tested on animals.

A little info on LUSH

Lush Ltd is a cosmetics retailer headquartered in UK. Launched in 1994 by six co-founders, the company is centered around helping people feel better about themselves. They are a staunch believer in ethical buying. The company does not buy from companies that carry out, fund, or commission any animal testing. Lush produces creams, soaps, shampoos, shower gels, lotions, moisturizers, scrubs and masks, cosmetics for the face, hair, and body. Lush products are 100% vegetarian, and often contain fruits and vegetables such as grapefruit juice, vanilla beans, avocado butter, rosemary oil, fresh papaya and coconut. The company also offers customers a way to recycle used black pots. If you bring 5 empty ones back to the store, you get a free Fresh Face Mask. Most Lush products are to be stored at room temperature, with the exception of their Fresh Face Masks, which require refrigeration.

Today I am going to review a LUSH face mask I have been using for few weeks now – ‘THE SACRED TRUTH’.

How to use:

Cleanse your face with your favorite face wash and pat dry. Then apply the mask over your entire face, making sure to avoid eyes and  mouth. Leave the mask on for about 5-10 minutes but do not let it dry completely. And finally wash off  with lukewarm water and follow with your favorite toner and moisturizer.

This is how it looks after applying. It has a mild scent which I don’t mind.

My experience:

I adore this product a lot and would easily give it 5 out of 5. The texture is not very thick and is quite smooth. So it can be applied effortlessly on face and washes off clean easily. It gives my skin a glow for a good long time. It moisturizers my face, and leaves it soft and tight. If you are suffering from breakouts and pimples, this mask will be your saver. I have heard a lot of people who got benefits on breakouts with this mask. I use this mask 2 times a week which keep my skin soft and fresh. My overall experience is good and I would recommend this product to those who has normal or dry skin though it’s for all skin type. So enjoy and let me know what do you think about the product.

Availability and Price

The mask is available in stores only because it is very fresh and they have to store it in refrigerator all the time. They display this mask in the store with papaya which is one of the main ingredient and it looks wonderful. They come in 60g black pots and cost only 9.95 CAD. You can find more details on the mask in the link below:
