DIY Coffee Coconut Body Scrub
Coffee should be black as hell, strong as death and sweet as Love
Hi Loves,
Yay Spring is finally here and it’s so refreshing to see all the snow melting around and no negative sign before the temperature in my weather app. It’s so charming to see the barren trees now showing colors of green all over them and finally I can leave those heavy jackets at home.
Although officially spring is here but cold air has not totally gone away and this weather costs your skin to become dry a lot. Since I have a sensitive skin I face this issue a lot. In order to get rid of this I bring today this beautiful and easy homemade scrub which has worked wonders on my skin and I am sure will do the same to you. The scrub is Coffee+Sugar+Coconut. I call It “Coco Coffee”.
As you know most of the cosmetics and beauty products contain so many harmful chemicals, so I am extremely cautious of what I am using on my skin. I tend to go for organic products or homemade products because they will be very beneficial for your skin on the long run. This coffee scrub fights against another very concerning issue for women – “Cellulite”. To know more about it see below.
Fight Cellulite
Sometimes when your body gets toxin build up within skin and fat tissues, it may form cellulites. Cellulite is a very serious issue, Dermatologists say that cellulite may affect up to 90% of women at some point in their lives. This coffee mask contains antioxidants which is effective to mitigate the appearance of cellulite. As a stimulant, the caffeine in coffee dilates blood vessels, which temporarily tones and tightens tissue. Plus it increases circulation and reduces water retention, both of which may also help smooth the rumpled look of cellulite.
Benefits of the ingredients
- It works as an excellent exfoliating agent and removes dead skin cells to give your skin new and healthy cells.
- The skin tightening effects of coffee also smoothen your sagging dimpled skin.
- It is said that coffee scrub also enhances fat metabolism and removes fat and liquid from your skin to get you rid of cellulite.
- Coconut oil contains antioxidants that stops the cause of damaged skin and wrinkles and helps in creation of new skin. It also contains Vitamin A and E promoting firm and supple skin.
- Sugar is an excellent exfoliating agent which can help in brightening and polishing your skin.
- Olive Oil protects the skin from premature skin aging and it penetrates deeply into the skin while providing a cleansing effect.
