OMG What did I just decide!! Write a blog post on handbag!! For those who do not know me I can just for a whole day talk on handbags, browse bag website or just gaze at the bags in a store. Yes I am so fond of handbags. I think a handbag shows how much a girl knows about fashion.

Classy Handbags – Should I invest?

When you choose a handbag other than quality and style another factor which plays an equally important role is the brand of the bag. The brand of the bag gives a style statement and a status which defines the lady. A beautiful dress, trendy makeup and a professional hair style does not complete unless you carry a classy handbag with you. It is a bit of an investment but I think it is worth it because of the following reasons:

• The material and quality of a high-end handbag is the greatest and would last a lifetime.
• As a girl we always like attention and a classy handbag will always pull one no matter what makeup or dress you wear.
• The brand will depict that you are knowledgeable about fashion and your style is way above average .

My love for Coach

When you talk about classy handbags, I think the gateway to the high-end genre of bags is Coach. If you do not want to confine yourself to normal off the shelf bags, then head over to Coach – The Gateway to Classy Handbags. What I love about Coach is they deliver very cool trendy and stylish bags with new collections very frequently and their prices are still reasonable and quite within budget. Their good classy handbags/satchels start from around 200$  ranging to 2000$. There are a lot of wonderful collections between 200$ to 500$ which is quite reasonable to afford considering you are owning such a world renowned brand. If you are looking for bags over 1000$, although there are a lot of more renowned brands in market like YSL, Gucci, Fendi etc which will deliver normal bags since it is the price of brand name while Coach bags over that price range are out of the world and with so designer look.

History of Coach

Coach © was founded in 1941 in Manhattan New York. It was a family owned business with six workers making Manhattan Leather Bags. Miles Cahn joined the company in 1946, and by 1950, he was running the factory for its owners. In 1961, the Cahns were able to buy out the owners, and in 1962, they hired Bonnie Cashin, who had designed outlandish costumes for 20th Century Fox in the 1940s. Cashin’s motto at Coach was, “”Make things as lightweight as possible, as simple as possible—as punchy as possible—as inexpensive as possible.” Seven years after Cashin left Coach, Lew Frankfort joined the company in 1979. The CEO of Coach today, he is credited with establishing Coach as the affordable luxury brand of handbags.

In 1993, former Tommy Hilfiger sportswear designer Reed Krakoff joined Coach, as the company expanded to outwear and luggage. Once again, the handbag line got new, modern colors and fun, young designs that were updated every season. Within a decade, Coach introduced the double “C” logo print, produced in a wide range of styles and colors. Today, Coach is a popular brand throughout the world. The full history of the Coach handbag gives fashion lovers an appreciation for more than the company’s quality and craftsmanship. It illustrates how this company has survived in the fickle fashion world through innovation, marketing and design.

Coach Ashley Leather Satchel Shoulder Bag (Cobalt Blue) Review

Today I am going to review my 1st Coach Bag which has been with me for some years now!! The day I found this beauty, I knew I am taking it home. I love this shapely, structured bag that manages to be classy, classic and functional all at once. The silver rings and the locks gives an extra edge on the looks. Not to mention the beautifully crafted “Coach” written in silver in the middle. There is also a cool stylish leather tag with Coach written on it. The blue color with a matte finish shows a mark of elegance. This bag matches with any dress but I love to create blue look with it by including some blue sapphire or stones along with blue glasses.

It has Grey Fabric on the inside with lilac satin lining. It has a zipper pouch inside to keep your cards, Money or id. The front zipper closure is of very nice quality and never has any problem with it. The size of the bag is (L) 12 x (H) 7 x (W) 5 inches which is a perfect size. Beautiful textured leather doing all the work, this smart satchel offers a streamlined approach to your daytime bag needs. It’s built to perform, but it’s not all business; its feminine shape gives it an edge over the competition.
